  Freezing cold day. Terrible service. Told we couldn't sit at a table in front of the fire as we were only two people and it was a 4 seat table so had to sit at a 2 seat table behind the fire in case they got busy. The dining room was completely empty apart from one other table of 4. And no, they didn't get busy. Later told we could sit in front of the fire as long as we weren't going to take too long to drink our coffee. Such a shame as it could have been such a lovely experience. The scone with jam and cream was nice.

  Take forever to get my hot chocolate and i was asked to stand outside in the cold while waiting for my order. Bring food next time you come for a picnic here

  Service was awful. Lady behind counter was extremely rude to teenagers and kicked them out after they commented on the price of food. Found this appalling, would never go back. Do not recommend it at all.
